Knock on the Door

If you’re a true crime junkie, you know the scariest cases aren’t planned—they just happen. In this film, the “mistake” isn’t stealing money or running away… it’s simply being home at the wrong time.
Kristen and James retreat to a secluded vacation house after a tense, emotional night. Vulnerable and exhausted, they just want the night to end. Then there’s a knock at the door.

The First Question

A young woman stands outside and asks a simple, eerie question:
“Is Tamara home?”
What follows is a slow descent into terror. Three masked strangers begin to stalk, isolate and psychologically break the couple without explanation, without urgency and without mercy.

A Redefinition of Fear

There are no ghosts. No monsters. No supernatural twists.
Just:
* an empty house
* the middle of the night
* and people who don’t need a reason
The most chilling moment comes when the victims ask why.
The answer defines the film:
“Because you were home.”

Fear Without Meaning

As the night drags on and hope disappears, the film becomes a disturbing study of:
* random violence
* helplessness
* the horror of the unknown
This isn’t just a break-in—it’s a nightmare where nothing makes sense and that’s exactly why it’s terrifying.
